Summary
The problems of coexistence of people from different ethnic, racial and cultural   groups are now particularly urgent. That is why they become part of the   school education in the form of multicultural education. This guide builds on the requirements for teachers and pupils to set up a Framework Education Program for Basic Education, in which multicultural education is included as   a cross-cutting theme. The author explains the theory and practice of multicultural education on numerous examples and researches both from the Czech environment and from abroad. The book is intended for teachers and   students of pedagogical disciplines, educational staff and those interested. The text is accompanied by illustrative frameworks that show practical examples and results of interesting research and didactic applications.
