Co-edited by British and American scholars James Simpson and Anne Whiteside, Adult Language Education and Migration: Challenging Agendas in Policy and Practice is a collection of essays tackling the issues of migration and refugee movements along the routes to and within Europe, Australia, Canada, and the United States.Contributions move along the parallel tracks of sociolinguistics and studies of language education, and they move in pairs: two chapters for each of the nine countries dealt with, addressing both policy and practice in adult migrant language education.
