Plot Summary
A YouTube video showcasing Lewis School in the UK and their innovative language programmes that take English language learning outside of the traditional classroom by the use of the arts (i.e. theatre).
The school specialises in using performing arts skills and techniques to enhance English language learning experience.
By taking language learning out of the traditional classroom, students are refocused and engaged, and in turn flourish within this innovative method of learning. Their projects enable students to develop their vocabulary, pronunciation, and delivery of English. They also improve their ability to express themselves, learn how to project their voices and develop their skills in verbal and nonverbal communication. In addition to their language learning the students enhance their performance techniques.
