The use of e-learning in teaching Czech as a foreign language
LanguageCzech
Date2017
Summary
The   present MA thesis deals with the use of eLearning in teaching Czech as a   foreign language. The theoretical part introduces the term eLearning   including its possible combination with face-to-face teaching, the so-called blended learning. Furthermore, the benefits and drawbacks of this form of   teaching are discussed along with specific features of language teaching. In   addition, special attention is paid to the procedures and methods of preparing an eLearning course. The analytical part gives a detailed   description of learning programme Interactive Czech (Bermel and Starý   Kořánová, 2012) comprising of a textbook and interactive material originally published on CD. Owing to the problems of the original interactive version,   the contents have been transformed into a new eLearning course fully   implemented in Moodle environment. The newly created eLearning course represents the practical outcome of the present thesis.
